The TFD Auxiliary met on September 18 at 1:30 p.m.. Registered nurses from the Magnolia Med Spa & IV Therapy in Durant talked to Auxiliary members regarding the services.

They offer Weight loss, Immunity, Dermal Fillers and Botox. The RNs work under a physician and NursePractitioners. .

There were 24 members present and all recited the Pledge of Allegiance. There was no humorous reading.

The group welcomed guests. The guests were Tina Slane and Beverly Adams.

Paula Zimmerman gave a special thank you to everyone who attended the dedication for Jere Zimmerman, especially Gary Wullenwaber.

Lisa Leclerc won the door prize. The group also celebrated the September birthdays. Happy birthday to Paula Zimmerman and Beth Speigel. They each picked a gift and the group sang Happy Birthday.

NancyAllison,LisaLeclerc, Beth Speigel and Amanda Harris did a wonderful job decorating for the Spaghetti Dinner.

Leclerc thanked Nancy Allison for reporting for her in the August meeting. Leclerc reported $121.79, $13.00 donations for a total COH $134.79.

Birthday cards were sent out for September.

Mary Green brought the History Book and added photos fromtheSpaghettiDinner for all who wanted to see it.

Becca Price reported that there were 11 EMS, seven fires and two suicides in August. Refreshments were provided by Amanda Harris and Beth Speigel .

The Rummage and Craft Sale is scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023. The cost for each table rented is $15.

The 2024 Leadership was announced. Guest Speaker Coordinator - Judy Jeffreys and Sandy Bumgarner The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the Month at the Training/ Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be October 5, 2023. All are welcome to attend.

The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/ Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in the fun.

For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, Contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-4043. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day and they must be a member of the Texoma Fire District to rent the building. Capacity for the building is 158.

The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the meal.
