Boyd Steele, 82, of Kingston, Okla. passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home in Kingston. He was born on December 5, 1940, in Griggs, Okla. to the late Dave Steele and Opal B. Jiles Harrelson.

Boyd was raised in Texhoma, Okla. He married Glenna Jane Couch on March 16, 1962, in Gruver, Texas. In 1964, they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he started his own business drilling water wells. He was a drilling contractor for 40 years. In 2004, they moved to Kingston where they lived the rest of their lives. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge where he was a 32-Degree Mason. He was also a part of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner. Boyd enjoyed working, fishing, shooting guns, flying his plane, gardening, most of all loved his birds.

Boydwasprecededindeathbyhisparents,twobrothers; Lloyd and Floyd Eslinger, and one sister; Juanita Woolley.

He is survived by his wife, Glenna Steele of Kingston, Okla.; daughter, Shannon Wyatt and husband Erick of Kingston, Okla.; grandchildren, Allison Boone, Jillian Boone, Payton Giles, and Lexi Wyatt; and great grandson, Braxton Walter Glenn.

Visitation was held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family hour from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Funeral service was Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Watts Funeral Home in Kingston, Okla. at 2 p.m. Bud Couchofficiated the service. Interment was at the Woodville Cemetery in Kingston, Okla. Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Okla. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.

Casket Bearers were Jimmy Anderson, Erick Wyatt, Triston Knight, Hunter Glenn, Alex Forder, and Chris Duroy.
