The Texoma Fire Department still has membership dues annually. Firemen who join our department must go through fire training.

First responder classes are optional as is the Crash Crew training. Meetings are every third Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the fire station.

Training is conducted as needed at the meetings or are paged out for a specific day. The dream of so many volunteers way back in 1979 has come full circle.

We would like to recognize the past volunteers who worked so hard to build the Texoma Fire Department and the current volunteer firefighters who continue to make this a safer community.

Please consider joining our family of firefighters. If anybody is interested in joining the Texoma Volunteer Fire Department, contact Chief Todd Cissell at 580-565-4491.

Applications can be picked up from the mailbox at the Texoma Fire Station located at 10089 Texoma Park Road in Kingston. Training will be provided.

The Texoma Fire District Auxiliary meets the third Monday of the month at 10978 Parkview, just south of Rooster Creek Bridge at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering at 1:00 p.m.

For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-4043 and leave a message. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day, and you must be a member of the Texoma Fire District.
