The Texoma Auxiliary met on October 16 with 15 members present and all reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Sandy B. gave the humorous reading. Lisa’s daughter, Chrystal was a visitor. Nancy Allison won the door prize.. Marie Burry and Monica Lytle both had birthdays this month. We sang happy birthday and they each picked a gift from the box.
Fellowship:12 birthday cards and three get well cards were sent out this last month.
Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors and free if needed. See Todd Cissell, Fire Chief, to get them.
Gayla asked that we assist her in helping the low cost spay and neuter in Durant by donating newspaper. She will bring a box to collect the newspapers.

The next meeting will occur on Monday,November19,2023.
The Texoma Fire District Board of Directors meets the first Thursday of the Month at the Training/ Community Center located at 10978 Parkview at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be November 2, 2023. All are welcome to attend.
The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/ Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in the fun.
For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, Contact Gayla Freeman at 580-565-4043. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day and they must be a member of the Texoma Fire District to rent the building. Capacity for the building is 158.
The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the meal.
