Fall has finally arrived, and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief from the brutal summer heat. Enjoy the falling leaves.
The Texoma Fire Auxiliary meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 1:30 p.m. with a social gathering at 1 p.m. prior to the meeting. The next meeting will occur on Monday, October 16, 2023.
The Exercise/Stretching classes are on Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cards/Games are on the second and fourth Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. Auxiliary members are welcome to join in the fun.
For anybody interested in renting the Texoma Community Building, Contact Gayla Freeman at 580565-4043. She will get right back with you. The cost is $75 per day and they must be a member of the Texoma Fire District to rent the building. Capacity for the building is 158.
The Lighthouse Methodist Church located at 4923 Alberta Creek Road provides an evening meal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lighthouse Kids Program for grade school children consisting of Bible stories, crafts and games is held each Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the meal.
