James Ralph Warren, 87, passed from this life on Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Family Care Center in Kingston. James was born Saturday, May 9, 1936 in Neosho, Mo. to Ralph James Warren and Nellie Faye (Daniel) Warren.

James was raised in Neosho and was the oldest son of five children. At a young age, he had to work to help support and feed the family. James worked as a truck driver most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with Pete Jackson.

James was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; a son, Ralph James Warren; two grandsons; two sisters and one brother.

James is survived by his daughters, Vickie Dodd of Kingston, Wendy Honey and her husband, Damon of Sacramento, Calif., Valerie Marshall and her husband, Ken of Bakersfield, Calif., and Vickie Warren of Ark.; sons, Jason Warren of Palestine, Texas, and Randy Warren and his wife, Lori of Ore.; a brother, Marvin Warren of Albany, Ore,; grandkids, Cody Warren of Kingston, Jada Warren of OKC, Jason Warren of OKC, Carlee Hillsberry of OKC, Katlyn Honey of Sacramento, Devin Honey and his wife, Kalea of Sacramento, Bucky Dean Holder of Bakersfield, Cheryl Snow of Bakersfield, Nicole Joiner of Arkansas, Steven May of California, Patrick Warren of Oregon, and Shay Warren of Oregon; 13 great-grandkids and four great-great grandkids.

Funeral services was held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Brown’s Funeral Home chapel in Madill. Interment services followed at Powell Cemetery. Pete Jackson, Gary Jackson, Cody Warren, Jason Warren and Cory Carrick all served as active pallbearers.
