Super C Mart held their soft opening on December 15, 2021 and allowed customers to shop in the exciting new location at 718 US 70E in Kingston. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 16, 2021. Residents who had been anxiously waiting could feel the excitement throughout Marshall County and Lake Texoma. Residents and weekenders have been waiting patiently for this day for 34 weeks.

“Exciting,” “congratulations,” “awesome,” “finally,” and “proud” were a few words being cast about the opening of the long-awaited new location of Super C Mart.

The first Super C Mart opened in 1959 in Erin Springs, Okla. by Ralph and Johnnie Carver. In 1971, Super C Mart Inc. was established through a merger of Carver and Coy Supermarkets with several locations throughout rural Oklahoma.

The construction on the new flagship store in Kingston began in the spring of 2021 and boasts over 16,600 sq. feet of grand shopping. Super C Mart provides the best quality products, a friendly family shopping with deluxe customer service.

As the customers enters through the front door, the fresh produce section sets the tone for their unique shopping experience. With the spacious, well-organized produce section, customers should have no problems finding their fruits and vegetables.

The store has a vast selection of dry and canned foods as well as their newly expanded, well-known quality meat market. Many customers said they will travel near and far for the quality meats and selections. Stop in and say “hello” to Terry McKee, Super C’s meat market manager and butcher. He said he will be glad to help with any meat selections or questions a customer may have.

In addition, the store offers a deli with fresh sliced meats and cheeses. They also have triple the selection and space of frozen foods than the previous location. The store also includes a nice bakery section with a variety of fresh cookies, pies, cakes, and donuts. They offer a walk in Beer Cave with several selections to choose from. Wine will soon be an option.

Super C Mart will continue their Loyalty Rewards Program using the stamps that customers enjoy collecting and redeeming on selected weekly items. Customers can also use the online app to take advantage of coupons. Online ordering may soon be a possibility in the future as well.

Many know that Super C Mart offers carry out. This is such a treat for many. To have a team member take the customer’s groceries to their vehicle and load them is a past time not to be forgotten, but to still be treasured.

The new store offers four lanes for easy check out and one courtesy booth. They also have an electric cart for easy mobility for their guest to use. Additionally, there is an icehouse located outside for convenience 24 hours a day.

Marshall County is ready for the new Super C Mart of Kingston. A larger store with the same kind of smalltown heartfelt service that can’t be found anywhere else. By chance, for anybody who runs into Jim Dowling (boss-man) while shopping, be sure to ask him how he is doing. As usual, his response will be, “I’m so fine,” just as the new and improved store.
